2026 Annual Halloween Hike

When: Saturday, October 24

Where: Olander Park

Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks invites families to the Annual Halloween Hike on Friday, October 24, at Olander Park, running from 5:00 p.m. (early entry for pre-registered participants) to 7:00 p.m. (last entry at 6:30 p.m.) Costumed kiddos will stroll the park collecting candy from volunteers at more than 25 trick-or-treat stations.

New this year, Sylvania Fire-EMS joins the fun with a Haunted Fire Safety House and a Fire Truck Photo Booth — blending Halloween thrills with hands-on safety learning. Detroit Mini Doughnuts will be on site with sweet treats for the whole family.

Admission is $5.00 for ages 3–12; children 2 and under are free.

The celebration doesn’t end there: Woodland Lane Cemetery, Sylvania’s beloved Halloween tradition, returns at a new location — Olander Park! Open October 24–31, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., this family-friendly display features animated scenes. All ages welcome.
