Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks Launches Community Survey

Enter for a Chance to Win Free Boat & Swim Passes

Sylvania, Ohio — Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks is inviting the Sylvania community to help shape the future of its five parks through a new community perceptions survey running through mid-August 2026.

Whether you hike, fish, bike, attend events, or simply enjoy time outdoors, your feedback directly influences future programs, facility improvements, and investments across Olander Park, Fossil Park, Sylvan Prairie Park, Southview Oak Savanna, and Whetstone Park.

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete. As a thank you for participating, every respondent will have a chance to win free boat and swim passes — one of the most popular summer experiences Outdoor Sylvania has to offer.

“We want to hear from our community,” said Erika K. Buri, Executive Director of Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks. “This survey is your opportunity to tell us what you love, what you’d like to see more of, and how we can continue growing these parks for generations to come.”

The survey is open now and closes mid-August 2026. Community members are encouraged to participate as soon as possible.
